BRASIL - Iguazu Falls

The Iguazu Falls view from the brazilian part. The name Iguazu comes from the Guarani or Tupi words and means 'big water'. This is the largest waterfall system in the world.

Iguazu Falls are Number 3 in my 100 Wonders Of The World list.

Iguacu National Park in Brasil is UNESCO World Heritage Site.

BRASIL - Pantanal

Pantanal is a natural region encompassing the world's largest tropical wetland area.

The name "pantanal" comes from the Portuguese word 'pantano', meaning wetland, bog, swamp. 

This is UNESCO World Heritage Site.

BRASIL - Ouro Preto

Ouro Preto is a former colonial mining town in the Serra do Espinhaco mountains. It has outstanding Baroque architecture. 

It's located in one of the main areas of the Brazillian Gold Rush. Officially, 800 tons of gold were sent to Portugal in the 18th century.

This is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
