BRASIL - Ouro Preto

Ouro Preto is a former colonial mining town in the Serra do Espinhaco mountains. It has outstanding Baroque architecture. 

It's located in one of the main areas of the Brazillian Gold Rush. Officially, 800 tons of gold were sent to Portugal in the 18th century.

This is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
