CHINA - Tibet | Potala Palace

Potala Palace in Tibet was the residence of Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to India during the 1959 Tibetan uprising. Now this is the museum.
The palace is named after Mount Potalaka. The 5th Dalai Lama started its construction in 1645.

This is UNESCO World Heritage Site
and Number 40 in my 100 Wonders Of The World list.
